I'm curious what Mr. Dodd has been cooking, I'll say.

I've been really interested in these LGK's getting on a 7297. Unfortunately the efficiency of the Skinny 6 is low for anything but moderate-low volume. You can listen louder, and it's fun, but it doesn't give clarity. Even 88db efficient is a huge help.

You should look at Danny's Wedge speakers. They're high efficiency and very, very, high in value I'm told. The trick is having a space for them. These Skinny 6's look to be a fantastic speaker for featuring in non-listening rooms, and screen-centric rooms.

Imagine a pair, veneered, in a modernish, or rather very simple living room with nearly nothing in it but a nice wood floor, some nice chairs, coffee table, two speakers placed a little too close to the wall, with an integrated amplifier a small wireless source on a small nearly anemic wood table. You've got some wine in your hand, and just ate a salad, some roasted vegetables, rice, and foie gras. Then you fire up Frank Sinatra & Antonia Carlos Jobim, The Girl From Ipanema.

Yep, that is the picture my wife would like.

I haven't been able to work on the Flat 5. I need to build a test box for it still.

"-3db down point is 70Hz..."

what would you recommend for filling in the bottom end?
an 8inch servo on each channel?

Any of our servo subs would be fine. Really just about any sub will reach them easily. Keep in mind you cross them where they are both -6db down. That will be in the mid to lower 60's.
