Hi:

I am going to purchase a Denon 2900, and have Dan install the Ultimate Truth Mod...Can anyone tell me a good place to buy one online? I have done a little research, and there is quite a range of prices--I don't know if these are "B" stock, or used/repaired units. I went to one website, and it was mentioned that they remove the serial numbers??

One one hand, the warranty is going to be voided, once Dan modifies it--But on the other hand, I want a quality unit to start out with...

The best price i've seen is at ecost.com. They had a refurbed unit for ~500 about a month ago, and a 5900 for ~1000 a couple of weeks ago. They are also an authorized etailer, so you get a 90 day denon warranty. I found them to be the cheapest authorized etailer by roughly 10% on refurbed items.
