Hi guys, I finally got a chance to update our website, including info on the new Tube Umbilical from Revelation Audio as well as updates and details of the Denon 2900 and 5900 tube mods.
Pricing has been set and raised slightly, to account for increased parts and production costs associated with the final design changes made to both units.
Denon 2900 Universal Truth Mods = $1300.
Denon 5900 Universal Truth Mods = $1600.
An interesting thing to point out: Both mods will accept the Russian 6H30 tube (basis of design), as well as 6DJ8/6922 (with 2x output level due to higher mu of tube), and 6CG7/6FQ7 (same operating characteristics as 6SN7, but in 9-pin package). This allows for A LOT of tube rolling and I am excited to hear what people prefer. I chose the 6H30 as the basis for my design because I REALLY like the tube, but both of the other options provide different but excellent sound also, with no sonic penalties.
