Before she was out on her own she played with her brothers as "Trampled Underfoot". She has always had that gravelly blues and deep from the soul voice. A few years back they were opening for George Thorogood and the Destroyers on tour. I could have listened to Nicole and the band and skipped George. I remember watching this in 1986 on ITV music box when they played music videos all through the night.
I'd accidentally od'd on a cold mixture that contained speed or a variation therein whilst revising for my finals and couldn't sleep.

BTW. after a recent concert a member of the local rock station said she is one of the best female vocalists he has seen come out the city. So she is getting some traction. Let's see things in 5 years. She was going to pursue an Opera career but opted to do this instead.
