Liquid, detailed, dynamic - these speakers do so many things so very well. They have been a pleasure to own, never failing to engage and captivate, but I haven't used them much at all in the past few years, so I have decided to sell. I have owned them since 2008, shortly after they were upgraded to the MXe version, and I have enjoyed them paired with both tube and solid state amplifiers. They have an uncanny ability to disappear in the soundstage; with my favorite amps (Atma-Sphere M60s), the Merlins were nothing short of incredible.

Condition is very good, see photos below. The dark gloss blue is a beautiful alternative to black. The speakers have been kept out of direct light in a non-smoking home. There are a few very light marks in the clear coat on the top that can only be seen up close in strong reflected light. Hard to photo, but I've tried below. Really minor, the speakers look stunning.
