Sensation and storage
« on: 20 Nov 2012, 07:12 pm »
Greetings,

For various reasons including a move my Sensation has been in storage for about 2 1/2 years. I'm about to put the unit back into service-- is there anything I should look into before powering it up for the first time? The reason I ask is that I had a couple of mobile amps in storage in the same area (a closet that was likely damp) and both had issues until I broke out the electric parts cleaner for the "pots".

Many thanks...

Crossing fingers!  Should be fine!

(Plastic bags are marvelous for keeping out dust when you put something in storage).

What about bring the amp up to to room temperature for 24hrs, then turn on ( in my experience Sensation takes a while to get warm), then the fun begins :icon_lol:
