While waiting for a pair of TangBand W8-1808, I decided to try the Visaton BG20...I got pleasantly surprised by this "poor man's" B200: I'm using it together with a Monacor SPA-15PA cut at 200Hz with  a 12mH coil and a 47uF cap. The BG20 is taking the higher frequenc with a 70 uF Obbligato (still had pair of them, so I decided to use them) with 9mH coil and a small correction in the treble with a 1,5mH coil and a 10Ohms resistor...The result is really nice, with a very natural reproduction of voices and instruments. The only drawback is a slightly restricted high frequency range...nothing really bad.
I can highly recommend them as well as the Monacor SPA-15PA using a beautiful cast frame to any OB lovers willing to try them...

German Magazine Klang + Ton have used BG20 in a kind of 'retro' design in their 'Cheap Trick' series together with Visaton cone tweeters. They have produced three variations until now and they also seemed very pleasently surprised over the BG20 performance. These designs were all boxes but I don't doubt that the BG20 also will work very well in OB.
