Sonos limitations ( no hi res, 65,000 file limit) have me thinking about the Mac Mini.  But I have some questions. Do you need a monitor & key board for every day operations, like rebooting and shutting down?  Or does Amara allow you to do this thru an ipad? I was attracted to Sonos because you don't need to boot up a computer to play music.

IMO you need a monitor and keyboard, the iPad apps are all pretty glitchy, I have the monitor 25 foot away so no big deal and its on the way to my listening chair

I agree with Fridays, I use an iPhone and anytime it doesn't work I have to turn on my TV because I'm blind to what is going on. Usually it's an iTunes update but sometimes it just doesn't work.
