Remote Power Turn-On Plug-In Connector

Hi folks,
I'm about to hook up my 7's using the connectors, what input(hole) is positive and negative?

It is DC so does not matter.

It depends on the relay type, but if it is a non-polarized relay without an internal snubbing diode, then either polarity will actuate the relay.

It would make sense however to identify and mark polarity so if the Brystons are used with other triggered components that have polarized relays, all will be copacetic.

Just looked at the circuit from a set of 7B schematics. I doubt they've changed the circuit much - why would they.

Simple full wave diode bridge feeding a standard low dropout chip voltage regulator. The regulators' DC output then drives the trigger circuit.

This allows sourcing from any DC or AC signal from 4v-12v (regardless of polarity for the DC signal).

So, connect any AC or DC set of wires and it will work.
