fun fact.   A good friend of mine and my wedding photographer is a pro-photographer living in Brooklyn, as does Sufjan Stevens.  They go to church together and my buddy has done all the photography for Sufjan's latests albums.

My Morning Jackets new album is great !

Will have to check it out.   I loved them until he did the Prince cover album.

I will add one I currently like very much.
Billy Gibbons and the BFG's -Perfectamundo - Afro/Cuban music
Nothing like ZZ Top and that was Billy's goal. Sounds like something you would hear on a Cuban Miami radio station but in english.

There was another release in 2015 that I just came across.  Absolutely brilliant prog rock double album by Oz's Arcane.
