The seminal end of the sixties album, ime . . If Only I Could Remember My Name (David Crosby and a gang of artists from the Dead, the Airplane and Canadians Joni Mitchell and Neil Young and some other Bay Area and LA bands).  Plus that, maybe the best sounding rock album you have or never have heard.  It's really good sounding with rich and saturated imagery and bass to die for.  I hope the CD is as good sounding as the record but I rather doubt that it will be.  Anyone can always hear the real thing at my place.

About the Crosby album under discussion above, if I haven't said at some point that this a masterpiece, well, I'm sayin it now.

Just picked this up today.  Still trying to decide if I really like it, but it doesn't suck.

Wow you've got to love the opening track on this album.  Absolutely stellar.  Keith Moon in all his splendor.

When the Eagle Flies

Picked this up in my visit yesterday to the used record store.  Really nice record.  Almost jazz--mellow, and with Steve Winwood's captivating vocals.

It can be a difficult transition from the Peter Green FM, to the Christine McVie, Bob Welch FM, but hang in there. Miles apart style-wise & sonically, but still class A stuff. On the other hand, I never really made the transition from this configuration to the Nicks/Buckingham one. Like anything musical (or otherwise), a matter of personal preference.  8)

Back in the High Life

Great album I picked up yesterday on my trip to the used record store.  Seems to be a bit digital, though.  I don't have the CD, but I'm guessing it doesn't sound much different than this LP.
