I've decided I may buy the album in question. Maybe it'll inspire my wife.

Really ????? You guys are still at this ?

None of the other "Circles" have caught your interest ??? (hate to repeat myself but...)

No need to do this just because "Circle" is part of this site's name (How does that song go "Will the circle... Be unbroken ? Bye & Bye ...etc)

Do she have only one pose / expression : i.e. blasé sideways glance?

This thread has inspired me to actually try to listen to some Krall again.  I'd written her off as kinda milquetoast, but maybe there's more spice in the Glad Rag Doll album to match the covert art? Damn - been duped as well!

I have one DK album. It's been played exactly once. Sorry, just didn't find anything interesting to listen to there.

'All For You (tribute to the Nat King Cole Trio)' and 'Love Scenes', trio record feat. Christian McBride & Russell Malone are good Jazz records!  As far as the pics go, she's always been a sexy lady, these are actually pretty tame.  Have you guys seen the cover to J-Lo's latest?  Now if Krall was doing THAT we'd really have something to talk about!;)

I have always see something strange on DK looking, you just found it.
Her face looks expressionless as a barbie.
Iam neutral about DK music and beauty, maybe I looking wrong but on this image below sees clearly she had big feets and longer arms than normal.

This have a cost, a side effect:
I hope that in this unfortunate case the dignity of Jazz be preserved, otherwise it can become so vulgar as the current pop music.

I think the high heels and bad posture exaggerate the effect.

She has good overall stock, but bad carriage / form.  Needs to stop slouching and lounging.  Guess that's what goes for sexy & sultry these days.

"Stand up straight" as my mother would say! She's gonna get the dreaded "dowager's hump" if she doesn't!

Is this about music any more?  Guess I'l shut up now.

The dignity of Jazz? It started in Dives and Bordellos for god's sake. It only became respectable relatively recently when someone realized it was America's only indigenous art form. I think the problem with Jazz is, it has become too dignified.

So true - for very long Jazz was considered the vulgar pop music of it's day!  The hushed reverence of it now + classical I think kills too much of the energy particularly for the youngest generation.

P.s. Devil Doc & I like our avatars w/ good posture.

The concept of art assumes that it must be a noble, relevant and difficult creation for the common person, being the work of an unusual person, the artist.

If everyone is able to do, its not art but something else.
So sexuality is not art as any person, animal specie or even an amoeba has sexuality and can express it.
So if its not a rare talent its not art, its a corporal/mental function inherent to living beings.

Because of consciousness humans have a code of ethics involving sexuality, as is understandable.
Without it the human species will stoop to animalistic levels. Imo.
Sure divergences will be.

I agree!

What would everyone say about an album cover of Meatloaf dressed like DK?

I buy based on the music.. If the cover has some NICE pictures that's a plus..

Not sure why all the rumpus over the DK album cover.

Then again some people complain about ice cream being cold.

Those pictures don't give me any ideas, been married way too long for that but I'm sure Elvis is really proud of her and he should be.
Talented and easy on the eye.
As always YMMV!
