BOT and the Pi, How well do they work together?

I have seen articles recommending them together and I have seen post saying that the BOT should only be used with the BDP2 . Just curious?

 It would be awesome If I could use the BOT and PI to store all of my cd's , I just scored a mint condition Bryston SP 1.7 with witch I can use the  DAC
and hopefully have an extremely resolving system. I can afford the BOT and the PI. Would love to hear of other users impressions. You know, some of us have Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget. Thanks!
