Taken in rural Southern Illinois, this photo speaks volumes. From the Storm Trooper decal, to the Pit Bull Puppy to
the Dodge 4x4 Truck, there is more than a ½ ton of Americana here. On the tailgate was a giant decal that said,
"If You Can't Dodge It, Ram It!" I stuck my hand out the window, while driving, to get the shot.

The photo was taken with the little, but mighty, Sony RX100MKII. The same P&S camera that Buddy mentioned in another Eye-Fidelity thread.

I used Neo 7 updated version to edit the photo instead of photoshop because I haven't loaded photoshop onto my new computer yet.

Orcas are hard to photograph, especially when there is so much glare on the camera display that it is impossible to see what the lens is seeing.

A couple of pictures my brother took at Brooklyn Bridge Park at sunset the other day.

He used a Nikon D7100 body with a Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 lens (most shots at f/4-6.3). For the second picture, it is actually a HDR composite of 5 photos that are 1.0EV stops apart.

bside123, Your Farm Field Textures photo reminds me of the shredded wheat I used to eat as a kid before they "spoon-sized" it and took out all the fun.

Most definitely. I was thinking of that as well!

In this image, I also like how the textures of the grass graduate into the textures of the hay bales which are capped by the texture of the nets... and then covered the smoothness of the sky.
