SOLD

This is a DIY Slagle transformer volume control passive preamp with two inputs and one output. The magic of the Slagle transformers is that they provide the ultimate in transparency and detail, but do not sound lean or edgy. If you want a preamp that has no noise and imparts slight warmth to your system, then this is for you. This volume control has 14 steps of about 3 Db each. This is probably sufficient for most listeners, but will not allow for ultra precision volume matching. The only caveats are that the stepped attenuator does not turn all the way down and the chassis is a not a work of art. This is a DIY preamp, which in my opinion looks pretty good. The critical thing is how it sounds, and the Slagle transformers in it really bring the transparency and detail. It does not look like a premium preamp, it only sounds like one.   I am asking $300.  CONUS shipping included!
