Super nice system amandarae.   I think these will sell very quickly.  I'd grab them in a heartbeat if I was left coast.

PS, do you like vinyl?  ;)     :thumb:

Rich,

What is vinyl?  Just kidding.  Yeah, I enjoyed my vinyl collection greatly.

Anand,
Thanks for the kind words!

Your system sounds great over my Odyssey Lorelei's but I'm willing to bet it sounds better on your own system.   I commend you for using YouTube, that's a 1st time I've ever seen this approach used in a ad and I very much enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing and good fortune with your local sales efforts.  :thumb:

That's an exquisite collection of turntables and tube amps you have there!

Houston Person on vinyl - very nice.

Cheers!

I agree.  I'd love to hear more about them over in the Vinyl Circle.  How does the 301 compare to the TD124 vs. the Teres.  I'm about to bite the bullet and restore a Garrard 301 and would be very interested to hear your experience with yours.

Hey, that would only be $0.50 per mile round trip!  Ahem.....a bit of a drive but a very decent offer.

ecod123, Gary, sorry for the late reply guys!

Yep, Houston Person!  The album is "Why Not".  Another good one is "Talk Of The Town".

Gary, do it!  You will enjoy the Garrard a lot.   If you are looking for an arm to mate with it, I suggest not to beat around the bush and get a 12" arm.  Very nice combo IMHO.

The Teres, Garrard, and Thorens sounds different from each other.   To be honest, it is very hard to choose which one is "best".  It all depends on what you are in the mood for the evening.

regards,

Abe

Phew, that was close. Congrats on the sale, saves me making the trip from L.A. just to hear what I should not be buying.  :)

Can you swap out the ATI for a different amp, or is the crossover configured for that specific setup?

You can use any amp that you like provided that it has a power rating of 60 WPC or higher with the same gain and input sensitivity per channel to make your life easier.  Higher power amps (>60 wpc) will probably bottom out the woofers if you crank it up as if there's no tomorrow.  After that, you will hear one of the nastiest sound a woofer can make(allegedly).  I never experienced it but some users in the Orion forum reported this.
