A question and vote:

If I were to do away with LEDs indicating sample rates, and replace with two dig. displays, one for volume and one for sample rate, what is your preference?  It is really an aesthetic thing, and obviously if done this way, we would use a digitally controlled analog stepper, that could be bypassed.

I like the LEDs.

Will the volume control be an option?  My guess is that the majority of users will use the Elyse with a pre-amp so it would be nice to get this without a volume control (and associated cost).
