Well, I was rather pleased to pick this one up the other day for fifty cents.  Original of Miles Davis - Miles Ahead.

The LZ3 is a gift for my nephew.  If I had a shrink wrapper I'd spin it before wrapping it.  :P
He'll be here next weekend tho  :D

Division Bell is really good.

KoB up next.

                          :lol:

                     just saw it.
Looking forward to the new album too!  Two "new" Floyd albums in one year is like, never thought that would happen.

Hey Laura, you asked me at CAF what KoB was, it's the Miles album Kind of Blue sitting top right of
MaxCast's Division Bell.

And yes, Division Bell is great, though I only have it on ceedee.

Yes it is!!! :thumb:

Had Division Bell reissue in hand yesterday at PREX, but couldn't bring myself to shell out $30, or the $50 for the reissued The Wall, though I badly wanted both.

Here's what I did get at PREX;

I thought my dollar buys today were pretty decent. not a bar code or cutout among 'em. Autobahn's been cleaned & played. side one dead quiet. side 2 a little noisy for first :30.  Unsure why.  No signs of record changer abuse. Covers all pretty sweet as well. Just need a little hair dryer action to safely lift off those darned stickers . . .

Oh, and if you haven't heard the nearly 9 minute version of Buffalo Springfield's Bluebird, well it's the reason I picked up the Heavy Metal compilation.  Holds up very, very well on my copy, so pretty happy about that one.

I made 2 trips to DD's in the 2 months I've been was convalescing. I finally found that Lucifer's Friend LP I had been searching for. At $25 it was a bit steep but it's only copy I've seen and it was in M- condition.

A very fine album and worth it.  I bought it when it came out in '70. This is the only vital album they put out and a masterpiece at that! Their style changed after this one in attempt to sell records. Could have been pressure from the record company or the lack of quality material or both. Enjoy!

Well Lucifer's Friend is one that certainly got past me, so since you all think so highly of 'em, I'll make use of YouTube to get acquainted.  Thanks.
