All,
Would anyone have a picture of the back of the Bryston T On Wall speaker (TOW) or could kindly take a picture of it?
I am putting 2x4 cross braces across the wall studs and installing on wall speaker terminals in an electrical box to mount future TOW surrounds. I looked at the manual online
http://bryston.com/PDF/Manuals/Model_TOW_MANUAL.pdf but it does not state the mounting distance from the wall bracket to the top of the speaker.
Also I need to know / see the back of the speaker to see if there is a gap (width, depth and height) to determine if I can hide the speaker wall plate and terminals behind the TOW. The spray foam company is coming on Thu Sept 1 so I would ideally need the info by Wed Aug 31 so I can install the 2x4, electrical boxes and run the in wall rated speaker wire to the electrical boxes.
Finally getting around to rebuilding my home theatre since my move (6+ years ago!). Time to blow off the dust on the SST amps and SP 1.7. The room is long and narrow (12' * 28') so the shallow TOW as side surrounds will work well as I plan to have two rows of three wide seating. Will be installing double 5/8" drywall with green glue (walls and in between floor joist), using ceiling isolation clips so thus I want to get the mounting location for the TOW correct from the get go. The plan is to buy three identical Bryston Tower speakers that will go behind an acoustically transparent screen. I will start auditioning the speakers once I finish the home theatre room and the rest of the basement.
Thanks Eric
