While updating my very well used, somewhat beaten up to be honest but perfectly functional Audioquest Dragonfly Red to MQA capability it died.
I tried all manner of actions to resurrect the thing to no avail. Keep in mind the DAC was way, way out of warranty.
The next day I called AQ speaking to nice guy named Alex. He said given the circumstances the device was dead and likely not fixable. I was prepared to say thanks and run off to get another Dragonfly Red. Alex explained - send the dead unit to us and we'll replace it and they did. The new unit arrived in 100% perfect condition with the newest software factory loaded.
I've only listened to MQA files for just a bit through Tidal and Tidal through Audirvana Plus via the Dragonfly Red. But my early feelings are very positive.
