This is a terrific album. I believe Bernie Grundman did the mastering for vinyl (BG in the deadwax). Michael Fremer told me that Gilmour really cares about the sound of his vinyl and requires that he receive test pressings before he approves the vinyl.

An early favorite. Does anyone know which megastar surprisingly credits this record with shaping his early career?

I don't know Ken but I do have the vinyl

David Bowie. And if memory serves, he said it was THE influence.

Odd, I know, but true.
