I keep expecting Dylan to start singing but he doesn’t so it must be somebody else.

Merci Beauxcoup.  But who is Bertysolo? A solo artist? A group? And is he/they just samplng and remixing other people’s music or is it all original music? I’m so confused.

It looks to me like a French band. I couldn't find much information about them on Google. I found the name of the song with a phone app called SoundHound. They have a number of albums on Amazon: LINK

Well, the reason I ask is because they’re either really good or they’re singing and playingover samples. There’s one blues number where I thought hey, that’s Robben Ford.

Shazam says it is "The Beauty" by Peace Band. Does that help any?

My head almost exploded when I first heard that (ala Mars Attacks!) but I couldn't get the fishbowl on my head.

I've done some research and I've come to the conclusion that Bertysolo is one single man ( this can be understood reading the description of his official youtube channel "BERTYSOLO" ) that sings over royalty free instrumental tracks. But for some reason, also when listening to the instrumental version of certain of the tracks he covered, Shazam thinks it is listening to the Bertysolo version, and so he comes up as the author of the song.
This happens also to other tracks of him, other than the one you are talking about in this discussion, and some channels re-post the instrumental versions of the songs, but using the title Bertysolo gave to his version of the piece, and his name as the author. One example of a popular song used in various videos that is being mistaken for a Bertysolo track is Trapped by Quincas Moreira that Bertysolo changed to Mama. He actually gave the credits of the original song to the author, but if you search on the internet for Mama - Bertysolo there are a lot of videos with that title, that in reality contain only the original "beat" without the voice of Bertysolo.
