You SPOKE to him?

Where'd you ship it?  I'd check his local Craigslist to see if he's doing anything funny.

I'm assuming it had none of these issues when you sold it, and how did he become such an expert on SWM replacement?  By stripping good motors out of ebay purchases???

I shipped it to Tennessee, and I heard his accent in one of his videos...

I don't think I have the serial number unless it's on the original receipt which I included in the box...

Strange it, there is nothing again, looks YT has blocked it to my country:

The manual focus ring is not as smooth as it should be. It also makes some screeching sound and feels like metal rubbing up against metal when the focus change is a larger distance.

That's odd. Maybe Brazil doesn't like me.

Mr. Brick, you must be in Brazil hanging out with FRM again.
Here's a copy and paste from less than one minute ago from the YT page:

The noise it's making is its way of screaming at you.
I use less force racking a shotgun than you do on that lens.
Go easy on the equipment man.

Why are you forcing it past the focus stops?  That's abuse!

I also find it odd that it's listed under "Pets and Animals".
It also shows at "unlisted", which it didn't used to.

It used to be that people would buy used stuff on the basic understanding that it was used. And therefore, already subject to some wear and tear. Now, it seems like people buy used stuff and act as though it were supposed to be new.

I got the lens back.  The focus ring is *F up.  It definitely didn't leave me the way I received it back.  I wonder whether he took whatever part from my lens and installed it in one of his already *F up lenses.

Going to send this back to Nikon to get a quote on repair and have them inspect whether the lens has been doctored.  At least I hope they could do this for me.  I could understand why they wouldn't want to be apart of somebody's dispute.
