Question relating to remote access between two mac’s
MM #1= Mac Mini 1.6 GHz Intel Core Duo w/2 gb ddr2 sdram
Running OSX10.4.11,Intel GMA 950 Graphic Card: This device is a dedicated Music Server w/ outboard data storage and DAC and is located on my stereo equipment rack.
No monitor/keyboard/mouse are connected to this device.
MBP #2= Mac Book Pro 2.4 GHz Intel Core Duo w/2 gb ddr2 sdram, NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT Graphic card. This device is used as my primary computer and located on a table next to my listening chair.
Both computers are wifi connected to a Belkin MINO router located within 35 feet of both devices. I am using a Motorola Cable Modem for access to the net.
I share the screen of the MM#1 to the MBP#2 and everything works, except window display. It appears to be very slow when loading/refreshing and working with the screen of MM#1 from MBP#2.
Is everything working the way it should or am I doing something wrong? Like I stated, it all works but it is pretty darn slow.
