I recently bought four new Morel MDT-29 dome tweeters from Parts Express to replace my rebuild tweeters in my Supertowers and am offering the rebuilt tweeters for sale. The magnet assembly is original, the ferrofluid has been removed (Brian's suggestion as part of the rebuild). I bought the dome assemblies from Madisound, the rebuild was pretty easy. One of the tabs on one of the tweeters broke so it is a bit difficult to solder to, but other than that they are in good shape and sound fine.
New MDT-29 tweeters cost around $50.00 each. I am selling the rebuilt tweeters for $50.00 per pair plus shipping. Will be shipped in the boxes used for the new tweeters. No mounting screws included. Eight ohms impedance. Pictures to be added shortly.
