Where did the name Hoyt-Bedford come from?

How do the Hoyt-Bedford Type 2 compare with the Super 5 XRS in terms of sound?

Hi JLM,

The name is from my Dad's business here in CT.
It's actually two streets ending in a corner.

Type 2's have a huge sound. They are also very well balanced. In terms of speed and a touch of transparent the 5 series is pretty hard to beat

The type 2 is more sensitive, deeper bass, fuller midbass, and very even in nature throughout the mid band.
