Glad to be a new member here and hope to contribute, but mostly learn from the more knowledgeable members.
I am continuing to build a budget conscience two channel main system. My current goals are to improve my network system via USB filtering, re-clocking, cabling, server tweaks, or whatever members can recommend. I am using JRiver, Exact Audio Copy, JRemote, and a Windows XP computer as a server with the SOTM SMS-200.

Here is my current system:
AMP - Rogue Atlas Magnum or McCormack DA-1 rev. 1
PREAMP - Modwright SWL 9.0SE
CD PLAYER - Marantz 6005 - with Blue Jeans rca cable
DAC - Wyred4Sound DAC2 SE with Blue Jeans rca cable
NETWORK PLAYER - SOTM SMS-200 with WireWorld Starlight 7 USB 2.0 cable
TURNTABLE - Rega Planar 3
CARTRIDGES - Audio-Technica AT-440ML AT440ML or Sumiko Pearl or Clearaudio Aurum Beta S
PHONO PREAMP - Musical Surroundings Phonomena II with Blue Jeans rca cable
SPEAKERS - Dynaudio Contour 1.3 MKII with Kimber Kable 8tc

If your room is not small, recommend adding a good sub (or more if you're interested in better bass control, search "swarm" here at Audio Circle).

I'm joining mostly so I can search threads to gather information for improving my system. Hopefully at some point I will feel informed enough to share the knowledge gained.
Current system is NUC-ROON, Bryston BDP-1, Audio Mirror Tubadour III SE, Modwright SEL 9.0 SE, McCormack DNA-1, and ZU Audio Dirty Weekend 2.
