Hi, interested in auditioning the VMPS RM2 in West/North Texas (possibly Albuquerque or Austin/San Antonio).  Thanks!

I"m in the Metro Detroit, MI. area, have RM-1s and original 626 in light oak. Set in a 20ft x 13ft audio room. Any other VMPSers in the S.E. Michigan area are welcome to drop in. There once was a dealer up in Flint, and have bought VMPS in South Bend, IND. before.
Seems shipping costs have slayed the beast in the Great Lakes States ...

I just went through the whole list and didn't find anybody in Southern Oregon area.  I'm particularly interested in hearing the RM-40's.  Anybody out there?

You might see if you can roust Warner who I beleive is in the Portland area.  He used to be a VMPS dealer and last I heard he had RM40's.

His screen name is: warnerwh

I think if you CLICK HERE it will take you to his profile (where it looks like he was active as late as yesterday)

Although, looking at the map, Portland is not "southern".  :duh:

Mains: Tower IIs
Center: LRC
Rears: 626r still need another pair for my 7.1
Sub: Large sub
Yamaha 595 receiver
Yamaha CD player
Technics Record player
Hand made a/v stand and Center channel stand
Finishing stands for 626r's
Building towards a Home Theater and have most everything but need to get the next house first before really putting it all together.

I am in the Lansing, MI area and can have listeners over mon-wed nights.

I might be weird in thinking this; but if I had your speakers, I'd be running the 626's and LRC up front, with the Tower II's in the rear.  Then you'd have matching speakers across the whole front of the theater.  Sound quality, with the matching fronts, should be much better that way.  If worried about the 626's bass response, use the Larger Sub in the same location as the front speakers.  Then, run the Tower II's with a full range setting, on your receiver!  That'd be awesome!  Bass all the way around!   :o

Also, I applaud you for adding your system to the audition list.  Even though Brian is no longer with us, selling new speakers, it's still nice to think that there are VMPS owners, willing to demo their systems!  Nice!   :thumb:

Oh yea, glad your LRC crossover issues have been resolved!  Sounding good now?    :D

Yes it is sounding good now but have not had the chance to really test it with movies as it is sitting downstairs just waiting for its new home.
