Question about BDA-1 for James
« on: 21 Mar 2010, 07:14 pm »
I have found a used BDA-1 to buy and I have a few questions:
-can the xlr & rca outputs be use at the same time with out any problems(rca for a set of speakers upstairs & xlr for the main system)
-this dac had some software updates last year, what are the updates?
-Serial # 000066, build date 08 34 rev 3, what does this all mean?

Hi bud1451,

Yes you can use both outputs at the same time. Contact Mike Picket at Bryston and he will let you know what software changes if any you need.  mpickett@bryston.com
