With the exception of a very small scratch on the top left edge of the faceplate, this unit appears to be new.This preamp was purchased new by me from Frank van Alstine and has been in my system ever since. You would have to spend a considerable amount of money to find a better sounding unit. It comes with a new spare pair of 6N1P tubes still in the box.

Price is $650 plus shipping (~~$30 to anywhere in the lower 48 states)~~ from 32953. I am now offering free shipping to CONUS

I purchased the van alstine amplifier and I just want to say that it was very well packed, and a very easy transaction. I'm listening to the amplifier right now and it sounds very, very good. If I didn't have 3 van alstine preamps right now, I would purchase this one. Good luck to the buyer as this is a winner.
