However, the face plates won't work with the Oticas will they? If they are the same face plates that used to come with the N and OB series, they are not not deep enough to take the place of the waveguide, correct?

For the NX-Otica's and MTM-Otica's the face plate is not needed.

I was meaning the face plate could not be used in lieu of the CNC'd waveguide. In other words someone can't use the face plate to cut their own baffles, they still need the flatpacks to build the Oticas.

Not an issue for me, I still have the two pair of MTM flatpacks I got awhile back. I'm just clarifying  the issue in case someone else was thinking about building their own cabinets.

Yes, Jay has some of the MTM flat packs on hand. You can call to order the whole kit with flat pack all on one order and then I take care of Jay and Don on the flat pack cost. The NX-Otica MTM kit is $1,129 plus shipping. I quoted this lower earlier and had forgotten to add the tweeters.

Or you can order flat packs now directly from Jay and the kit later.

Oh yeah, that 1.5" deep wave guide allows the tweeter to play much lower.

Yes, the   flat packs for the MTM's are available, I have a few pairs in stock , can get more made if needed.  They are  $239.00 plus shipping from 98844 in approx a 50 lb box.
The wave guide is  totally different from the face plate,  for  any of the  NX seris  (Ottica, Ottica mtm, or NX-Treme) ,  the waveguide is required.
