Just completed this beauty yesterday in the nick of time for RMAF display.

Last new part required was the faceplates.  Metal finisher came through!

On display this weekend in Room 724 driving Alta loudspeakers.

Here is the new preamp in my system paired with the new DAC MK 5.  DAC in final burn in before installing cover.



Note that the flash on this amateur phono washed out the blue pilot lamp on the preamp.

Oh yes, I forgot, the preamp remote control also dims display and allows tiny steps in the volume setting if wanted.

Preamp and DAC have same footprint and will stack, preamp on top.

Is source switching only by remote control?

No.  The 5 small lights between the balance control and headphone jack are touch sensitive.
