Tubes & Iron

2pr. NOS Siemens ECC81 $100/pr

I will also be culling a very large collection of tubes, however this is a time consuming matter.  I have a tube tester, so I can test all tubes before I ship. I am going to start with a lot of older skool 4 and 5 pin tubes such as 46, 26, 27, 76, a pair of Cunningham engraved base 112A, 01A, 8x 3C24, 1J6P, 3A5.

2 Pair of R-core 100w power transformers (unused). Perfect for tube preamp stages or mono SET amps. $40 per transformer which is roughly half of what you can get them for when considering shipping from the orient. R-cores are more efficient than big EI cores and put out a more compact electromagnetic radiation pattern than EI, while still providing necessary isolation from power lines that toroids do not. These are basically ideal transformers.
2x R80-44 (0-360-400)X2(50mA), 0-15(2A), 0-5(2A), 0-6.3X2(2A) 11.5(L)x9(W)x5(H)
2x R80-36 260-230-0-230-260(90mA), 2.5-0-2.5(3A), (3.15-0-3.15)X2(3A) 11.5(L)x9(W)x5(H)

Unused Transcendar OPTs.
1 Pair of Transcendar 3kohm 100ma 10w OPTs:: 3K to 8 ohms, Frequency Response: 20 Hz to 100 kHz, Maximum DC Bias Current: 100 mA, Primary DC Resistance: 300 ohm, Primary Inductance: 20 H, Part Number TT-010-OT $150/pr

813 sockets and top caps:
I have 4 of the modern ceramic sockets and 1-2 pairs of old school Johnson sockets. I have 4 top caps. $20/pr ceramic, $30/pr Johson

Pr of GM70 NOS sockets. $25/pr

Vintage Thordarson hermetically sealed filament supplies. I believe I have at least 2. 6.3v @ 2amps with 2kv test. $20/ea

Magnequest B7 preamp input/output transformers (these are LN = low nickel ~49%)
B7-10K 10k 500 CT 4.47:1 +18 25 5.61 20Hz-20kHz $125/pr

These are big cap, non-electrolytic russian style caps.
2x K75-17 Russian 50mfd 1000vdc PIO 5.5" x3.25"x 2" not including leads $25/ea
2x Russian PIO 4uf mfd 1000VDC 4.25" 3" 3.25" $20/ea
4x Russian PIO 0.1mfd 8000vdc 5.5" 3" 2.25" (really good for first tuning cap) $25/ea
2x Russian PIO 100mfd 1000vdc 5.5" 3.25" 3.25" $100/pr

Huge power transformers. These are beasts! Prim: 2x 0-115v , Sec: 0-285V @ 2A, 0-115V @ 1A, 0-12V @ 1a, 0-12v @ 1A. I have two of these, perfect for OTL monoblocks. $100 /pr

Hi Josh, I would most likely be interested in some of your vintage tubes when you're ready to list them, and assuming you don't mind intercontinental postage. Did you manage to make use of those 6B4Gs?

No I never put many of the tubes collected to use.   Always had plans that never came to fruition.   I was more prolific with sketching/studying designs but not building them.   I built a couple, but many less than planned.

FYI to others.   I don't have any 6922, 12A*7 family, EL34/EL84/KT66 or many of the other standard tubes used in audiophile gear.   I collected vintage tubes, some TV toobs and computer era tubes, i.e. the more interesting ones.   I do have two pair of the Siemen ECC81s (12AT7).
