Is Odyssey stuff on the outs?
The power amps sell like hotcakes and at a higher than normal resale value (>50%).
I just bought a Stratos Plus to have upgraded to Dual Monos.
For some irrational audiophile reason, this preamp is overlooked.
I am not sure it has ever been professionally reviewed like the Stratos, but I could be wrong.
I also think solid state preamps may be harder to sell due to less
tweaky audiophile appeal than tube preamps right or wrong.
It is silly as at used prices the Tempest extreme is a great value and has the warranty that hardly any other used gear
will have.
