Selling my AR XB table, along with my Bottlehead Reduction phono preamp (separate ad) which make up my second TT system. I just don't use it enough to justify it. This is the 3rd AR I've owned, and I love them. This one is my favorite since it has the tonearm lift. This table is EXTREMELY clean and unmolested. In fact, I am the first person to ever remove the bottom plate. The spring assemblies still have perfectly pliable foam! I cleaned out the bearing wells, and they appear to be in great shape with very little wear. I polished the platter and tonearm spindles with 1000, 3000 and 5000 grit foam, and the platter spins for days. The metal top plate is in great shape with one scuff mark that makes it not flawless. The outer platter edge has been polished and looks great, with no marks. The headshell threads are in good shape, as are the cartridge leads. The tonearm wires and RCA cables are original and in good shape, as is the original power cord. Lastly, the cover has been polished and is very presentable. There are a couple scratches, but no cracks. It has the original AR logo emblem as well. The Shure M97x cartridge has plenty of life left and the cantilever is straight. No issues at all. Lastly, it will come with the felt platter mat shown.
All in all, this is probably one of the nicer, unmolested XBs around. I have tons of pictures if you want to see anything in particular.
