Rebadged Bryston 7B...Sonics 800x Questions
« on: 30 Sep 2015, 01:18 am »
Hello, I have a pair of rebadged Brystons. The faceplate name is Sonics and the model is 800x. Reading through the very limited info on the site I read they were amps used in Imax theatres. I am looking for any information about these amps. They have a single input with "thru-put" and two sets of binding posts. The binding posts also allow for a bridged output using the top two red posts. Does anyone have any insight about these amps?

Thanks, one of my questions is whether I can power two speakers off this one amp albeit it will be mono. I will see what the Bryston site has to say.

I too. have a pair of 800x and 600x recently acquired from a refurbished Imax. They work great at 20 years young.
