I couldn't figure out where to post this so apologies if it is in the wrong circle.

Has anyone else discovered this show on NPR?  I look forward to every Saturday evening from 6-8 PM to hear some really interesting and eclectic music.  Friday and Saturday nights deliver incredible Jazz on my local NPR station that has me digging around to buy new music for my library.

I forgot to add links.  Will be watching the website for tonight's playlist as there was a lot of fun music presented.

That is a great great catch.  My local NPR station does not carry that show.

PS:  WNYC.  Which is in itself incredible.

My local station apparently doesn't carry it either.  I have numerous systems and I removed the FM connection from probably all but one.  I moved from the DC area a few years back and there would be rare instances I'd listen to FM (like NPR).  After tuning in stations down here, I think the only one I left connected is the basically almost never used bonus room upstairs (basically a guest bedroom).  I'll leave FM on in the car for very short drives but it is not great and I always resort to my thumb drive in the car where I have about 6.500 songs and need to convert more at some point (either MP3 or WMA) to a playable format.  I probably need to look at net radio again.  I do listen to it sometimes outside where the master bedroom feeds the outdoor speakers.  In the old place when I got an easy way to play net radio (had a Squeezebox Touch back then), I abandoned listening to FM.

If you do some of the streaming stuff here is a way to listen.  And I have to give a shout out to a Kansas based show :thumb:

If your local NPR station doesn't carry it and you want to stream live through a media player or device rather than a web application, you can access it on KPR (Kansas Public Radio) with stream URL
