I saw it last Saturday. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It is not a bio-pic. Don Cheadle does a convincing job of inhabiting the character with all his flaws and attributes. While what there is of the music is superb, I could not help but wish there was more of it. Don't get me wrong, there was plenty of music but IT'S MILES FREAKING DAVIS! You can't cover 50 years of music in an hour and 40 minutes while still telling an engaging story which this film was. Highly recommended!
