Pez thanks for responding, I get what you are saying.

In a similar situation you could rotate the end of the couch clockwise, or SHOUT "Ryan plse help me pull this couch round a bit" (in his interest after all).

Just helps for the minions that are not attending.

Cheers

If not the equipment inside then perhaps whose room it is? Some of the room comments don't say which room it is... :)
a reasonable  request. We'll try harder on that.

I can only see 2 issues with that.  1, we'd need a squire boy to do all that equipment name transcribing while we did everything else.  And 2, we really don't care about the equipment in the room.  Now, I know that sounds a bit standoff-ish, and I don't mean to sound that way.

Ah well, never (rarely?) hurts to ask.  Meanwhile, keep doing that voodoo that you do so well.

Best wishes,  -dB

Thanks gents for posting a few pictures from this event for those of us that can't get down to experience the show in person :thumb:

Rumour has it that VPI has a second new turntable at this event - Avenger (other than their new Prime TT). Has anyone seen this TT or is it just a rumour?

Be well...

Bob's Devices had the VPI Avenger with 2 tone arms in their booth.

Walked into the room and damn that bass! Mini DSp triamped. My cup of tea right off the bat. Sat in the sweet spot. Listening to an unknown artist singing grandmas hands by bill withers. Amazing imaging really really amazing. I'm really digging this setup. Really pinpoint 3D insert other adjectives! This is the best imaging and sound staging I've heard period.

Dat bass control... Wow.

This is a contender for best in show I can tell you that much already. Best room today so far.

ariy voicing in general pretty rock solid imaging. I like this setup and fail to find anything wrong with it. Yet there's nothing that makes me love it. Suffers from the hifi sparkle timbre a bit.

Ok so this room is much better than the other VS room. I like the overall bass balance a lot better and there's no brittleness to the treble. Images better too, but I failed to really enjoy this one deeply.

What's the blue Atma-Sphere component? Is that a line stage? I've never seen it before.

Atma-Sphere Ultraviolet "budget" 6sn7 line stage at $1900 or so, can include a phono stage as well. No remote, no frills, not balanced.
