I enjoy listening to music on my daily walk and the sound on my Nexus 5 just wasn't cutting it.  Stopped by my local audio store and picked up a Fiio X3 II.  When paired with a 128GB microSDXC card, it gives enough room for plenty of 24/xyz and DSD files, plus the occasional 16/44 for the versions of albums I either don't have high res for or for versions were the CD mix/mastering is better.  Very happy with this purchase, the sound is fantastic.

It has certainly been an awesome couple of weeks with respect to the perfect furniture additions to my most humble Xanadu. Finally a cabinet worthy of housing my modest alternative vinyl collection. Planning on building an insert for vinyl storage into the upper section and perhaps my record cleaning machine. A rough estimate is that it should store a couple of hundred albums. My "mainstream" vinyl collection will be stored in another location  as is my Mainstream CD collection.

It has certainly been a long couple of years as this is when I began purchasing vinyl, a BP 1.5 last fall, more vinyl purchases, a record cleaner which should be in from Germany in a week or two, more vinyl purchases and then, finally order the turntable - I think I went about this all backwards

Now to find some victims to help move it into the listening room   :peek:

Be well...

This is simply exquisite and very fine cabinetry for your vinyl storage!
Congratulations Laundrew

My additions were the CH Precision C1 DAC CH Precision D1 Transport, Shunyata Sigma HC, Gryphon VIP Reference XLR and A/C cords, and  Purist Audio Aqueous A/C cord, Oyaide Tunami GPX-RV2 and TAOC footers for analogue and digital components and speakers.
I will take a pause on this addictive buying and just listen to music....and drink tea.
