The sad part is that it is already way below 50% the drivers alone are over $3k if you add the wood and woodworking and the wiring which I used silver plated teflon insulated wiring (200ft total in both speakers) at 2.55 a ft and the crossover parts, is about $4k in parts alone.
The 50% rule is from Retail, a speaker with 4K in parts will likely retail for 10-12K at the bare minimum so the 50% rule will be about 5-6K. I am asking $1,600 which is 40% of the part cost and charging nothing for the labor.
So based on your Suggestion! I should increase the price to at least $2,000 because that is the cost of just the actual parts :
