I'm moving my Well Tempered Simplex back into my listening room and I need a new deck to put in my big room system. I'm tempted to buy one of the brand new Rega Planar 3's... but in my experience you have some pretty nice stuff kicking around gathering dust.
I'm open to anything. But I'm kinda interested in a MK2 or later (newer or modded is better) Technics SL-1200 (would consider other SL's).
I would prefer something that isn't spring suspended cause my loft floors are wood and can flex. Probably would avoid anything with low mass arms. I want to be able to run most modern carts. I do like a nice DD table like a higher-end Denon or Technics.
Must be willing to ship to Wichita, KS 67203 or I could drive as far as Kansas City, Tulsa, OKC or maybe meet someone halfway from Dallas etc...
What do you guys have stashed?
