Canada Rob has finished his evaluation of the amp and posted a thorough review of his impressions.  The amp is now on it's way to Ultralight in California!

Can I get on the list of the Road Trip (Shouldn't all Road Trips have some Detroit ROOTS)?

I have a Cardersound Tybone single driver beast of a speaker that is doing well with my FleaWatt DAC and a very nice SET tube amp.  Wondering how they will sound with a chip based amp.

This should be interesting.

let me know who to send my address info!

Jeff in Detroit (Well Macomb really)

Jeff,

I haven't received anymore demo requests from Omega speaker owners.  Once it completes the circuit with those that own Omega speakers, I don't have a problem sending it to the Motor City.  Interesting about your speakers.  I had a lot of communication with Carder when he was deciding whether to build speakers commercially.   I had built several pair of the Frugal Horn Sachiko and Saburo, similar to his speakers.  I'm familiar with the flavor of sound your speakers produce.

PM me and I'll add you to the list.

Derek

Hey Now,

The Flea Watt arrived today. Well packed, I must say.

I have it set up and it sounds terrific! I am using Roon with HQPlayer NAA upsampling all files to DSD256 from a 5K iMac to a DIY music "Super" streamer via ethernet, it is an Intel NUC with an AudioLinux OS into an iFi Nano DSD DAC > FleaWatt > Omega Super Ts with a Crown XLS-1500 and bucket subs. Cheap and Cheerful  :green:

I have been making some amps with the Sure TPA3110 boards and really excited to give the TPA3116 amp a good listen. Thanks again for the tour. I will report my impressions and probably ship after the weekend early next week.

Hi guys.  I got the Road Trip amp back safe and sound.  However, only the 24V power supply was in the box.  One of the people who had the amp must have forgotten to ship the 15V supply.  Please check your listening rooms and I would appreciate shipping the 15V supply to me.  Thank you!

Hey Now,

15v PS not here. It was shipped on from me. Good luck in tracking it down.

Really liked my time with the Fleawatt. I got a board to make my own now.
