Hello all,
I've gotten back into the audio world over the past couple years after taking a little time off to raise a family.
I'm looking forward to hearing members' impressions of new equipment, among other things.

The front end of my current rig consists of an aging HW19 MkIII TT with a Grado Reference Platinum mounted on an AQ 7 tonearm feeding a newly arrived Van Alstine Vision phono pre on the analog side along with a Cambridge Audio 651 CD drive and an Asus core I5 laptop both feeding  a Bel Canto 1.5 DAC on the digital. The amp and pre are Van Alstine as well; a Synergy 240 solid state and tubed T10. Speakers are a Magnepan DWM bass panel and a pair of MMGs modded under PGunn's direction.

It's good to meet you all!
 Scott

I appreciate the welcome folks!
Jerry, I noticed you are also a fan of Van Alstine equipment.

Welcome Scott,

Nice rig you have assembled there! Hope you find this site as enjoyable as I do. I have learned lots about DIY building and design. Lots of Expierenced opinions and varied tastes here too.

Opens the mind a bit from the usual magazines.

Cheers,
Nick

Thanks Nick, pretty humble compared to many here though.
Yes, I have found a number of interesting threads here, already.
It looks like your speaker project was a challenging one. Beautiful veneer work!
