getting started with Omega?
« on: 20 Aug 2017, 02:18 pm »
Hi all-

I am gearing up (literally!) to try a new desktop system working around the Omega Super 3 Desktop speaker.  I am thinking of pairing it with a Decware Super Zen Triode Select amplifier and then rolling tubes to the RCA 5u4g and the Phillips Green Dario Miniwatt 7038s.  For wire, I'll probably do Zenwave SL17 with a D3 interconnect.  (Or I could do the Dueland 16 gauge wire and IC.)  Am I on the right track and any tips from you Omega veterans before I pull the trigger?

Thanks,  Margot

That'd be a killer desktop setup. Go for it!

Super great set up.  Louis's speakers are top notch, especially when paired with Decware amps and ZenWave Audio cabling.  I am awaiting a long D3.5 IC cable from Dave which will complete my set up.

You'll love this system.

You'll love it. I am using a Scott 222c with mine. At times I get distracted by the music and forget that I'm supposed to be getting work done.
