High Sensitivity Transducers
« on: 24 Apr 2014, 03:07 am »
Hi Everyone

Most highend headphones have high sensitivity, this means more acoustics with less electronic signal, many people think a loud headphone is better than a less loud one, othe important parameters such as frequency response graphs are not taken into account (subjectivists) and simply state their opinions on listening impressions, high sensitivity is achieved in two areas at the voice coil or the magnet and/or others combine both, although high sensitivity is good to have, going into extremes to achieve it has side effects, like the frequency response may not be ideal...

what are your experiences, you are most welcome to comment...
