Pasted in from post #10 below, see tha tpost for material detailsa;Prices will be $500 / pr for duals, $700 pr for triples $550/pr duals, $750/pr triples, boxes and shipping materials were much more costly than expected. These things are going to be heavy so there will be shipping out of Oroville WA 98844 (approx 75lbs x2 for duals, 95 lbs x 2 triples.)
As seen later in this thread, there are options for inlaid grill frames for duals @ $50 /pr or all 4 (front & rear of each cabint) @ $80, triples @ $65/pr or $95 for all 4 (front/rear)
Also shown later in thread are some amp boxes that will fit the A370PEQ amps (should fit the HX800's as well). These boxes are 45'd in the corners and each corner has a #20 biscuiit. Assembly is simple. A$40 /pr with a flat pack or $50 /pr alone (helps cover a box and packing).
We're planning to offer both dual and triple 12" H-frame flat packs. These will be made from 1.5" MDF (top, base, and side panels) and 1" MDF for the baffles and braces.
The lay out has the duals measuring 16" w x 14" d x 30" h.
The triples will measure 16' w x 14" d x 44" h. The bases will be 1.5" proud of the main dimensions on all sides. Overhanging or flush mounted top are available, the overhanging tops are much simpler to prep (glue them up, give a light sanding, prime, and paint,) the flush mounts will involve you dealing with a seam.
The cabinets use both dadoes and dowels to make asembly very easy. Both the baffle and braces will fit into dados..
Each side panel will have a pair of dowels in each end that will mate witht he top plate and base also aiding alignment.
Due to individual tastes/preferences and in an attemp to keep costs down, roundovers/bevels will be left up to the builder. If demand is there, we may look at offering something at some point.
Contact me if yo u are wanting something specific
and some models with both the overhanging and flush mount tops
Working on getting the details finalized on another project then will get to these, hopefully soon
For now, I can try and at least answer questions and keep this off the other threads
While these were not CNC cut, here are a couple links to a dual 12" H-Frme build and a triple 12" H-Frame build I did a while back. Guess you could call these prototypes for the above packshttp://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=127533.0http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=134523.0
