This is pretty freakin' awesome.  I saw a History Channel special where they compared it to a "real" upright and it was actually smoother on a spectrum analyser.  They also did a DBT.

That is pretty wild, both actually. The mic next to the bass that is for harmonica players claims you can use it with guitar special effects stuff without feedback or any of the annoyances of an everyday microphone being used.

The bass is pretty out there.... I wonder what kind of sales numbers they get.
