There's probably some on the fence since it's holiday busy time. Just let me know a few days ahead.  :thumb:

I'm still going ahead, since there's a few already coming and that's enough to have some fun.

Rick, do you want to bring some speakers?

Count me in as a tentative yes  :green: Whatever you want me to bring, let me know; it's in my systems page (within reason of course!).

Best,
Anand.

Thanks Anand, glad you can make it... tentatively... ;)

Maybe your new K&K phono pre? I'd sure like to hear that.

Thanks Rich - ditto.

Guess I should have asked this first, but I think this GTG is in the Raleigh metro area - correct?

Sounds good. I have something new I'm working on and should have a pair ready by then.

Rich, you truly are the most humble of people.
I hope to make it over your way on the fifth of Dec.
It was the fifth of December, a day I'll try to remember, yes I will

I am  interested in attending. I live in  Kings Mtn, but have family in Raleigh. Cannot commit yet. Have latest edition of Audio by Van Alstine FET Valve CF Hybrid Preamp and 600R Hybrid Amp which I could bring. Pre has his Adjustable Phono in it. Don't have any other real fancy stuff except fancy to me older Linn LP12 with Dynavector catridge which I cant recall model number (too old and too late to go down stairs to cave to check
it out.

Appreciate your considering putting me on your maybe list.

You are very welcome yto attend Speight. Hope to meet you!

I enjoyed hearing the newer AVA gear at Capital Audio Fest a few years ago. I had heard AVA several times before at shows, but it seemed like they made a huge jump forward a few years ago. Really impressive. Sounds like a real nice system you got there. What kind of speakers?

Everyone: I have a nice Clearaudio Concept TT with Maestro Wood cart and Vista Audio AC edition phono preamp, so nobody needs to haul out their TT. Bring records if you want, or phono pre is OK. I have a VPI16 RCM.

Be advised my DSL is slow, 2Mbps on a good day. It might be enough for Tidal, I never tried it.

I'll need some stands in the 28"-30" high range. Any help would be appreciated.  :thumb:

Rick, I have DIY stands that are 27-1/4" tall. They are sand filled and solid.

I can easily build boosters to make them taller.

That should work fine - thanks - looking forward to it! I also might bring some speakers to trade or sell.

Great Rick, thanks!

Someone might bring their Tannoy DC8i monitors, and I just got a pair of Revel Performa3 F208, breaking in now. Plus my Kairos 2way DIYs. So we will have some cool speakers to sample.

Audio Research VT-100 amp with new Gold Lion KT-88s and matching Reference 1 preamp will be here. Other amplifiers and preamps welcome.

I personally would like to compare some high end DACs to my TP Buffalo2. If you bring a USB DAC, you might want to bring your digital source also, to avoid driver install issues on my old XP music computer.

Everyone should bring some music... on CD, vinyl or USB memory stick, or stream.
Thanks!
Rich
