Dual Mono Dact Attenuators
« on: 19 Aug 2003, 06:08 pm »
Hello!

I recently did a custom setup for the Dact remote control for 2 fellows. Both wanted to use dual mono dact switches and still add remote. It worked out well in my tests here so I thought I'd post about it. What we did is to just run 2 motor assemblies from the one PCB. Both setups have:

2 outputs to relays on toggles. They can be used for phase, mute, tape/headphone output etc.

1 output for a ballance relay. If they choose they wire the leads to one motor through relay contacts and when the right or left remote buttons are pressed then only one motor will turn creating a ballance via remote. It's a bit of mucking around with the wiring but it worked well and was kinda fun when I hooked it all up here.

Many Thansk!
